Genelabs' HCV-targeted drug discovery research has generated highly potent inhibitors of the integral HCV polymerase which are being optimized for preclinical development. Select anti-HCV compounds meeting our predetermined criteria have been promoted into preclinical evaluation and development and Genelabs is aggressively filing for patent positions in this high potential field

Genelabs is also screening new targets that further leverage our drug discovery expertise in HCV. The successful identification of additional compounds against new HCV targets should be complementary to our current HCV programs and would potentially strengthen and diversify Genelabs’ HCV project portfolio.
